Weed control at Scotia

Unlike many properties in western NSW, including many national parks, Scotia is relatively weed-free. Wild Tobacco, Horehound, Caltrop and Match-head Plant are the major focus of control programs: the area of occupancy for each species is very low.  Weeds that are widespread in the region – such as Wards Weed and Wild Sage – also occur on Scotia.
