Science: surveys and research at Curramore
At Curramore, AWC measures a suite of indicators of ecological health by undertaking annual surveys comprising 600 trap nights, 150 camera trap nights and 6 hours of spotlight survey.
Previous research projects at the sanctuary have included investigation of the response of diurnal reptiles to the removal of lantana, and the genetics of the spiny crayfish (Euastacus sp.) living in Little Cedar Creek.
